Once again, enraged after reading a so-called 'discussion' about having babies. This time being called a sin against nature, because 'in earlier times things always have been this way, that birthing and caring for babies was women's sense of life and top priority, because nature made them like that so the humankind could last through generations, so all the emotionless egoistic bitches who stand out are worthless, wasteful goats who do not contribute to the benefit of society'.

Sweet. After reading comments like that I never know whether I should laugh, cry, or get pissed. I have nothing against women who love babies and feel happy and fulfilled in the role of a mother - but I'm fucked off way beyond my 'regular' border of being fucked off by all those hens, that claim, that if they have a pack of three kids and literally pee on their thighs out of delight over the toothless drooling pie-holes, then it HAS TO mean that EVERY other woman has no other dreams like that. The fact that they don't see anything beyond the color of poop, first teeth and 'the most magnificent baby smile of all', does not mean that everyone around also have to make babies, because THEY claim that it's so amazing. For me, for several women I know personally and hundreds of them around the net THIS IS NOT AMAZING. So stay out of our lives and ways of thinking. If you want, then keep on sitting in your world of baby food and napkins and marvel, does someone forbid you? Why do you keep pressing those kids into everyone else's wombs so much, because this is beyond my understanding - do you regret that someone lives their own life, while you walk around in circles between baby talcs, poops, and Gerber foods?
Really. Some retarded mommy hens seem to have squeezed out their brain along with the placenta after all these pregnancies and births.

To clear everything and repeat it loudly - I AM NOT CLAIMING THAT ALL NEWBORNS SHOULD BE SHOT AWAY. I have NOTHING against children and their mothers. NOTHING. If you want, if you like, then birth away, raise and be happy. What I DETEST, are all the aggressive hens that shove down everyones' throats their only and right [in their opinion] way to live and would love to set up an obligatory impregnation for all the women that reached the age of 20. Sin against nature MY ASS. Code it into your baby food-filled heads, that the fact, that YOU fullfill yourselves by cleaning snot noses DOES NOT MEAN that EVERY SINGLE WOMAN ON THE EARTH wants nothing else but birth and act like a servant. Some of you behave like all the women were broodbunnies, that, if only a male gets nearby, are obliged to reproduce and reproduce and reproduce, because you think this is the way things should be. As I said, I have nothing against normal mothers - but I would tear to pieces those that state the shit I mentioned multiple times and insult all girls stating being childfree by choice. Because in 98% of cases WE, CHILDFREE ONES, are getting insulted and attacked first, by those who want to make everyone around 'happy' by force - make yourself a baby, because babies are sweet, beacuse I have one and I say so... :sarcasticclap:
AAAAND, according to the 'loneliness at the old age' thing - you can never be sure of anything in your life. Including the man your little con baby will grow into. And whether they won't kick your fucking ass and give you the finger after you reach 60.

From imnotsorry.com:
"-Why are you so selfish as to deny a child life?
-Isn’t it selfish to have a child to carry on a family name? To “patch up” a failing relationship? To have “someone that’ll love me no matter what”? Because you’re a certain age and all your friends have babies and you feel left out? To attempt to get a child of the “correct” sex (“we have a boy, now let’s try for a girl!”)? To perpetuate genes? To prove that you’re a woman who can “have it all”? To give one’s nagging parents a grandchild? To “prove your love”? It’s very difficult to justify an addition to the six billion-plus people on this planet without the use of the word “I.” Look at the millions of dollars that are poured into fertility treatments. How sad it is that adoption has become a “last resort” because people have been brainwashed into believing that somehow parenthood doesn’t count unless the child is “your own.” If that’s not selfish, we don’t know what is. We humans have inordinately high opinions of ourselves, controlling the population of “lesser” species but insisting that every human fetus ever conceived be born “just because” it’s human. We’re already seeing the effects of too many humans on this planet. If children are our future, as the pundits are so fond of saying, they’re really going to hate us when they grow up.
"

Call me a sin against nature, I'll just repeat I'm as proud of being one as ever. Oh, and I'll do MUCH more to the society if I dedicate myself to doing science.

This stamp is mostly for my own, personal use. But if you want to use it too, feel free to do so.
I'll probably get flamed if I disable comments. But I won't do it. I'm kinda curious now.

Also, this is WIN: [link] [Corinne Maier part]

Dealing with the Ursula Hirschkorn arguments:
1. Having a baby introduces you to the joys of elasticated waists and big pants.
It depends on what do you call joy.

2. Mums who have a girl, can indulge their inner princess and dress her up in fairy wings and tutus.
If you want, your dog also can be dressed up all fancy. Not to mention a teddy bear.

3. When you have a baby, you fall in love all over again, without being unfaithful or needing to shave your legs.
Only a mother could get an idea of gaining pleasure of being tired and unkempt. They say that the family is full at last, when the baby shows up. Yeah, full not only because of the baby, but also because of the lover of the poor husband, whose wife is so nonchalant about her appearance.

4. No matter how rough you look, your children always think you are beautiful (at least until they are teenagers).
Yeah. Until they're teenagers. Let's stick with that.

5. Toy shops are no longer off-limits, but stopping your husband from buying Scalectric for your week-old baby can still pose a problem.
I don't need an excuse to spend hours in a toy store. If I ever want to buy myself a coloring book, I'll do so and won't give a damn even if people find out it's for me.

6. You can admit the perfect date is on your sofa with a tub of ice-cream, now that the cost of babysitting has put paid to a wild social life.
Repeat of paragraph 3 - not caring about your look, making a fat, not-quite-clean whale out of yourself really isn't the perfect recipe for happiness. The kid won't notice that, alright. But everyone else, with the partner on the lead, will. No doubt about it.

7. Pregnancy is a guilt-free excuse to gorge on chocolate.
So is PMS-ing!

8. Cooking for children reacquaints you with fish fingers and peas, which just never make it on to the table at grown-up parties.
If you consider FOOD as the argument FOR having a pack of kids, pregnancy, labor and hours of sleepless nights and frustration, then our conversation is over thank you very much.

9. Even if they put a stop to a wild sex life, you will never be short of a kiss or cuddle with children around.
I prefer one concious smile from an adult person dear to me, way over uncontrolled explosions of joy and tenderness from a few-year-old.

10. You have the chance to put right everything your parents did wrong - and in the process give your children plenty of fodder to work on with their own offspring.
What if you appreciate your parents too late? Or you'll see all the shit they fucked up even clearer?

EDIT added on November 1st, 2010: I just went over all the comments and my answers below this stamp. The 'baby' matter makes me swear quite a lot, don't you think? :lmao:

Coming from someone who currently has a toddler and is expecting her next baby any day now, I am so, so, SO sorry you've run into so many of these dumbasses.  :(  People have a right to choose and NOBODY should be verbally attacked for their decision on whether or not to have a baby.  People who don't want kids have perfectly valid reasons and their decision should be respected.  No one who doesn't want a child should be forced to have one, just as no one who doesn't want a pitbull should be forced to have one.  Children are a HUGE responsibility, way more so than pets, and this lifestyle isn't for everyone.  I love my little son, but I did NOT love having to feed him every 2-3 hours around the clock when he was a newborn and be totally responsible for his well-being.  Diaper changes, cleanups, all the messes...now that he's older it's easier and I am getting more sleep ( though still not enough ), but I constantly have to keep an eye on him, entertain him, make sure he's getting plenty to eat/drink and dress him appropriately for the weather, take toys on long trips, deal with his temper tantrums and rough nights....the list goes on and on.  Along the way there have been a few beautiful moments, and I am enjoying all the nice things about every new milestone he reaches ( first smiles, first words, that cute little laugh ), but it has been a LOT of work, and I do sorely miss my freedom ( it doesn't help my hubby has me fix all his meals and do all kinds of stuff for him, too, so it's like I have an extra kid ).  No longer can I just go where I want when I want.  I always have others to think of now.  What helps me get through the tough times is the knowledge that it DOES get better, and babies don't stay babies forever.  Eventually he'll learn how to use the toilet, keep himself clean, get dressed on his own, fix his own food, etc.

My sister has chosen to remain childfree, and I completely respect her decision.  She's a free spirit and doesn't want to be tied down like I am, even if it is only temporary.

Not reproducing is not a "sin against nature", like some idiots want you to believe.  In the animal kingdom there are plenty of examples of animals that don't actually contribute their own genetic material to progeny ( usually because they're homosexual ), but help the reproductive members of their species raise -their- offspring.

- "I don't want a kid, it's too much of a responsibility to care for another being." -> "LOL YOU'LL COME AROUND!"

Honestly, 'sin against nature'? Pfft yeah, and roads, planes, cars, clothes, and farms aren't?

XD I stumbled across this and read it all. Powerful language. But I feel exactly the same way...almost. I honestly hate kids. I love how this was posted the day after my birthday XD Nice!
I remember once picking up a note in highschool that was left on the floor under a desk. It was a note conversation between two girls about how they thought this one guy (can't say who, didnt say on the note) was so hot and they wanted to have his babies.
I don't understand people. I really don't.

No one should force anyone to have kids. Not even your husband/wife. Don't be one of these maniacs. Please people, don't :P

Um. What the actual Hell? A child is not a doll utilized to immerse your inner fantasies of what you find appropriate. It is a child, autonomous with choice. Why the fuck do people argue about this shit and want others to have children? I'm not going to pull  the Earth's Population Card, but from a completely objective moral standpoint, it's fucking disgusting if someone wants to force another to have children.

I've seen most of my family members have children and bring them up.
It made me realise how bad i do not want to have my own.

And the argument they always bring up for why i should have love or sympathy for their little kids is "You were once like that too."
Well, that won't automatically make me love a little humanoid that defecates in its own nappies and gets saliva on everything it can.

My sister is one of these people and she's 40... What's unfortunate is between my sisters I really have no clue how to act... My older sister got pregnant twice before 19 and the oldest sister has no children... So I'm left feeling like... Should I have children? Or should I be like my oldest sister? I am very confused...

Having kids should be a choice, not an obligation considering the amount of irresponsible parents out there these days... -_-

I like kids, as long as they're not mine! XD

I used to work at a daycare, and got to know a bunch of adorable children, and I still don't want any of my own. I'm too mentally unstable (depression and anxiety), to support a child, and too me, that's not being selfish, that's looking out for an otherwise helpless human being. I'd never want to endanger a baby. :(

The only reason why mothers love their children is a hormon called "oxytocin". It FORCES them to love these crying and pooping pieces of [insert any word you want here].
It makes them forget all the pain the children gave them and prevents the mothers from throwing those things out of the window right after birth.
Friends of mine are always "oh you don´t want children? But they´re cute and blah blah blah". Yeah they think that because nature brainwashed them.

Aren´t there already enough humans on earth? Why making even more?

Great description indeed. I do know people, one of them being my best friend, who will be a great mother one day. She has wanted it since... I don't even know. And it's not because of the expectations of her parents, she's just so... Feminine. I consider myself definitely more as a woman with masculine energy. I have thought this since my sexuality awoke... And I can find no reason for me to have kids. I can't stand them, I cannot understand them. I feel as if somebody suffocates me even when thinking something like that. Freedom is just much more important for me.
